    Various shots at night and the competitors getting under way for the test through the Alps in which the first 60 classified drivers take place. Makinen of Finland in his DAC Mini is first away and is followed by Robert Buchet No. 57 of France in a Porsche, No. 107 Miss Rosemary Smith in a Hillman Imp plus others.

    C/U of sign, 'Col de Turin'. Various shots at night with the glow of their headlights, the cars speed and slip through some nasty snow covered roads. Makinen is first to be seen then the others follow including a Rover 2000 driven by Mabbs and Porter for Britain.

    M/S at night, sign across road in Monte Carlo at finishing line, Dunlop sign underneath. Various shots of competitors arriving in Monte Carlo. M/S in daytime; Paltonen and Ambrose of Finland arrive with their Mini Cooper which has a dent in wing. Various shots as a service van changes a wheel on a Fiat and they use a tyre with small metal studs in it.

    Various shots of officials waiting by the trophy table to present them. The car that was given first place, a Citroen driven by French team Toivonen and Timo Mikander. They pose with their trophy. Porsche driven by Frenchmen Klass and Wietherich receives second place award. M/S Citroen driven by Melle Pointet gets Ladies Prize. Shots with the Royal Palace in background of the cars as their drivers come forward and get their awards.
