YOUNG WOMAN: "The pressure on the government is being maintained because people are feeling very strongly against NATO and the government has in fact said that it would hold a referendum. But first it said it would hold it in '83, then it was '84, now it's '85. People fear that the referendum will never be held. As well, pressure on their anti-government movement because of military expenditure, which people think is very high for the problems Spain has right now. This is why the pressure is being held for a referendum and also because the government has expressed its position in favour of the Euro missiles and people feel against that sort of thing and nuclear weapons as well".
