Background: The cream of the world's civil and militant aircraft are again on display at the Paris International Air Show, the aviation world's biggest shop window.

SYNOPSIS: The show, which opened last Saturday (9 June) at Le Bourget, features more than two hundred and fifty planes of all kings, either in flight demonstrations or on ground display.

The sort of comfort most of us would probably like to enjoy is in this 707 (seven-oh-seven), specially outfitted and destined for a Saudi Arabian emir. The interior consists of four major cabin areas, including a forward private executive suite, a main lounge area in the centre, a galley and crew rest area, and two additional aft bedrooms. The main lounge area has a seven-seat divan, two three-seat divans and four swivel chairs, while for stand-up relaxation there's a leather-covered refreshment bar. The bar contains full drink facilities in a decorative cabinet, which also houses a cabin instrument display.

This isn't the sort of 707 (seven-oh-seven), which Boeing produces, but one done up by a company specialising in such transformations. After all, how many planes have an .....executive suite, including a stateroom and office area, and a sidewall console which houses an intercom and stereo system control panel? Not surprisingly, the luxury continues to the bedroom, where there's a full-size double bed, a swivel chair and a colour television monitor. And complementing this part of the executive suite is a master bath and dressing-room with a full-size shower.
