Background: Mr. Leslie Parker, painter and odd job man of Sydney, Australia, has no need for ladders in his work - instead he mounts his ten-foot stilts to do the job. Whether it is painting roofs or fixing lights, Mr. Parker does it on stilts.

Now 44, he has ben stilt-walking most of his life, and never once had a serious fall.

For processions he is much in demand as the leader - and his stilts are particularly handy for his job in a Sydney used car yard. But in spite of the advantage of stilt-walking - Mr. Parker readily admits that he does it mainly because he likes it.
