Background: There's another row at Egham over people living in caravans. To case the traffic congestion in Staines, the Ministry of Transport wants to take over land to build the new Staines by-pass.
Part of the land they want is this licensed caravan site near Runneymede. The caravan owners are being offered alternative sites. One of the sites is here, at Denham.
The other is at Datchet. Caryll Swinton-Clarke spoke to some of the people who are objecting to the move.
