Background: Chinese gymnasts continued to underline their strength in the Asian Games' men's events in New Delhi, India. On November 23 Fei Tong was awarded the gold medal for flawless floor exercises, while world champion Ning Li seen in the side horse routine, had to share first place with team colleague Xiaping Li and a North Korea competitor after all three scored 9.90. Results were unchallenged, after the previous day's uproar by North Korean officials who had pushed and argued with judges over the low scores of one of their men on the horizontal bar.
