Background: London Clinic in Devonshire -place was once more the scene of international visitors (Feb 19) to the bedside of Mr. Adnan Menderes, Turke's Premier, who is suffering from shock after his plane crashed Feb 17.
Crowds of Press photographers and reporters were waiting outside in case the Premier was discharged - but he did not leave that day.
Turkish-Cypriot well-wishers included Mr. Kutchuk, Mr. Sager, Mr. Denkash adn Mr. Grek. Turkey's Foreign Minister Mr. Zorlu was another caller and the Turkish Ambassador Mr. Birgi and Mr. Fenman the Premier's private secretary were among the stream of visitors.
Later Mr. Menders's two sons, Yuksel and Mutlli called to see their father after a flight from Switzerland the previous evening. They found the Premier much recovered. Said 28-year-old Yuksel: "We are happy to see our father looking so well."
Latest medical bulletin said Mr. Menderees's complete recovery was anticipated in a short time.
Turkish Embassy officials have confirmed that 25 people were on boards the plane when it crashed new Newdigate, surrey. Since the accident police with tracker dogs, have kept a day and night search of the nearby woods for the missing passenger - believed to be a Turkish security official.
Mr. Menderes was on his way to London for the Cyprus Peace Talks when his plane - diverted to Gatwick Airport because of fog - crashed. Fifteen people were killed.
