Background: An Education Mission from Thailand is touring the Island of Formosa, observing the education system of Nationalist China. The mission left Thailand in August, and has visited South Korea and Japan.
In Formosa for another two weeks, the groups will then return to Thailand.
Seventeen school principals and teachers from twelve High Schools are making the tour. They represent twelve central education development regions in Thailand.
The group's visit was sponsored by the I.C.A. under its plan to exchange school teachers. First Formosan school on their itinerary was the Taipeh Science Hall... the second, Taipeh Girl's High School, and the last a provincial school at Taichung. The Taichung school, by the way, is the most modern in Formosa.
