N.B. They drove to the Rashtrapati Dhawan (the President's House). Before their departure the newsreel men had to leave to be present there a little earlier as also to be permitted to drive in advance. The President of India, who was not doing very well, left immediately after meeting Ho Chi Minh at the airport. Mr. Nehru addressed on the behalf of the President.
