It is a very large blast, at Megaton range. But at no time was/ the testing out of control/. One important result of the Hydrogen bomb development has been the enhanced part of our military capabilities to the point when we should be more free to increase our emphasis on the peaceful uses of Atomic Power at home & abroad. It will be a tremendous satisfaction to those who have participated to this programme that it has hastened that day."
