Background: French rider Claude Magni won the seventh Tour Du Maroc at Casablanca yesterday (Sunday), after starting the final stage 45 seconds ahead of his nearest rival, the Polish competitor Zbignien Gorski.

The two men held their positions through the final 165 km (102-mile) tenth stage Al Jadida to Casablanca.

It was the Swiss rider Huber Othmar who broke away from the peloton (bunch) of riders to take the last stage and arrive first at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.
