TRANSCRIPT: WARWICK: "The building is only a short distance away from Morris Towers where a man leapt to his death last Friday. The man, who appeared to be in his twenties, climbed onto a ledge on the eighth floor. Police officers from mobile patrols rushed to the scene and four uniformed officers scrambled onto the roof to try to talk the man into changing his mind. The man stayed on the ledge for about 15 minutes before emptying coins and notes from his pockets. He shouted something at police, crouched and then jumped from the ledge. Doctors from nearby offices ran out to see if there was anything they could do for the man, but he died instantly. A nurse who also worked in the building rushed out with sheets to cover the body. Police are withholding the name until relatives are notified.
