Ghanaian President-elect Dr. Hilla Limann has promised to adopt a more open method in dealing?
CU President-elect Dr. Hilla Limann speaking.
TRANSCRIPT: LIMANN: "Now that the people of Ghana have democratically elected me to their President I call on all the true spirit of patriotism to come together as one united country determined to solve the many and difficult problems facing us. Let us marshall the rich, human resources available throughout the country and together march forward in unity and service to the nation. All of us have a duty to work to salvage out shattered economy and regain the lost image and prestige of Mother Ghana. Each and everyone of us has a role to play. To this end no offer can be too little. I have emphasised during the election campaign that my administration will be based on discipline, propriety and hard work. I assure you that I will do my best to uphold these principles. I will set the appropriate examples myself and of course I will expect and insist on efficiency in the various sectors of the economy and in the public services."
