    TRANSCRIPT:

CASS: "The player who looked most likely to succeed was Garth Crooks. Ozzie Ardiles, in his return match, played some good passes, like this one to Glen Hoddle. Hoddle's pass to Crooks was perfect, but how did Tony Norman save that header?

"Hull were under pressure, but nearly surprised the First Division side with some good breaks. The long ball from Brian Marwood -- and striker Keith Edwards was unlucky not to score with that neat lob.

"The first half ended with Spurts in total control, but surprisingly no score, especially after superb football from young Crooks.

"In the second half, Spurs again dominated, but Hull must have been expecting a draw by the time substitute Gary Brooke put the home side ahead with only seven minutes remaining. The goal was a welcome relief, and Tottenham confirmed their superiority two minutes from the end. The scorer: Steve Archibald. Spurts 2; Hull nil."

"Celtic went in front in the 19th minute with a run down the right wing and a pass to Charlie Nicholas. After 28 minutes, Peter Davidson put the ball in the net for Berwick, but a linesman had spotted an infringement, and the goal was disallowed.

"Celtic's second goal came eight minutes from time, when Dave Provan centred and Tommy Burns scored. Celtic 2; Berwich nil"
