Background: A factory built by the French Chausson Radiator Company was opened in a ceremony in Abidjan on Tuesday (11 January). The factory is to be used by the Ivorian subsidiary of the company, Chausson Afrique, for the production of automobile radiators and car parts. It cost 115 million Central African Francs (172,997 pounds Sterling) to build. A number of government and company officials were present during the opening ceremony, which took place in the Vidi section of the Ivorian capital.
