Background: Accompanied by large retinue, King Saud of Saudi Arabia arrived by train at Freiburg, Western Germany, July 22. He was greeted by town officials.
At the Hotel Colombi afterwards - where he had reserved 60 rooms - the King gave a press conference. He was accompanied at the press conference by his Foreign Minister, Sheikh Youssuf Yassak, and the Saudi Arabian ambassador to Germany, Jawsad Zikki.
His Majesty will consult local university doctors, and visit his fifteen-year old daughter now undergoing treatment locally for burns suffered when playing with fireworks at the Royal Palace in Saudi Arabia a year ago.
From Freiburg the King will go to Bad Nauman for unspecified health reasons.
