    DRESSED IN LOUNGE SUIT AND PANAMA HAT, THE YUGOSLAV LEADER WAS GREETED BY THE ZAMBIAN PRESIDENT KENNETH KAUNDA. IN A SPEECH OF WELCOME THE ZAMBIAN LEADER HALTED PRESIDENT TITO AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF SOCIALISM WITH HUMAN FACE AND A GREAT FIGHTER FOR FREEDOM.

    THE LARGE CROWD WHICH TURNED UP TO WELCOME THE PRESIDENT STARTED CHANTING "TITO, TITO" AS HE WAS INTRODUCED TO VICE-PRESIDENT KAPWEPWE AND OTHER CABINET MINISTERS.

    IN A SPEECH AT THE AIRPORT, PRESIDENT TITO SAID THAT HE WAS GRATIFIED TO MEET PRESIDENT KAUNDA AGAIN AND STRESSED THAT THEIR TALKS WOULD STRENGTHEN FRIENDSHIP AND CO-OPERATION BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES.

    PRESIDENT TITO THEN LEFT FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL RESIDENCE. HIS MOTORCADE DROVE PAST LONG LINES OF CHEERING PEOPLE WHO WERE WAVING YUGOSLAV FLAGS.

    THE SIX-DAY VISIT TO ZAMBIA IS PART OF AN AFRICAN TOUR BY THE YUGOSLAV LEADER.
