Background: On Sunday the Automobile Grand Prix of Italy took place at Monza, the result of which was determinant for the mondial championship.
The whole race centred around the battle between two British drivers: Mike Hawthorn, in a Ferrari, who had 36 points and Stirling Moss, in a Vanwall, who had 36 points. 21 cars took part in the race. The drivers had to run for 70 tours equivalent to 402,50 Kms.
THE WINNER OF THE RACE WAS TONY BROOK (WANVALL)
