Background: An important discovery has been made by two campers at Point Aux Cascades, in Quebec. After many days of hard work, Claude and Fernand Lagace' succeed in removing an ancient cannon from a river-bed. It's a bronze artillery-piece, dating back to seventeen-forty-three. Ten feet in length, it bears the insignia of a British ship. At one time, a dangerous weapon, it is now merely a souvenir of a bygone ere.
