Background: Jammu proviceon the Jammu and Kashmir state gave a send off of thick fog and rain to Seikh Abdullah who also had temperature due to exhaustion. Delayed by almost a day as the Seikh entered the valley he was welcomed by a rain washed and sun bathed valley. His first sight of the valley since his release had him and family coming out of the car. He had a heart full of look at the beautiful view that laid before him. While he sat posing for Visnews a large group of his admirers had waled up the hill several miles to garland and him and be the first ones to do so from the valley. They shouted slogans for Plebiscite. As the Seikh arrived at Verinag for a short rest he was virtually mobbed. Sitting in an open jeep Abdullah and Beg his close confidant began their slow journey towards Srinagar, the capital of Kashmir. Villagers ran alongside his jeep, shouted slogans for his long life and plebiscite. His jeep moved at almost a snail's speed. He acknowledged greetings of the running crowds and looked around towards the high mountains snow capped and beautiful views. Seikh and all his associates are at present running temperature from the exhaustion of the journey since his release.
