Background: Mr. Khatri Joumani, President of the Spanish Sahara Tribal Assembly, formally pledged his allegiance to King Hassan of Morocco in Agadir on Monday (3 November) and declared that he also brought the loyalty of several own future.
Mr. Joumani who is also a member of the Spanish Cortes (Parliament) defected to morocco in a surprise move. Her had previously backed Spanish plans to allow the 74-thousand nomads in the area to decide their own future.

Some Reuters reports suggest that the situation with the marchers has approached chaotic proportions due to sickness and malnutrition.
The reports add that an indeterminate number of marchers have already died from infectious diseases and that nations are small .. a tin of sardines, half a small loaf, a few dates and a litre of water every three days.
