Background: Frau Paula Wolf resides is a house in the shadow, almost, of Berchtesgarden, where her brother, Adolf Hitler, dreamed his ill-starred dreams of world conquest.

The "Eagle Nest", as Hitler's eyrie has always been known, still sits atop its mystic mountain. Built in 1938,it is now a restaurant. Buses bring words of visitors on sightseeing tours. Having deposited them at the foot of the mountain, they up by lift to the "Nest" at the top of the mountain.

Rudolf Czech keeps a three-year-old eagle which is an show to visitors in the grounds. It is reputed to be one of forty eagles once kept by Goering at Obersalzberg. Goering's house, now in ruins, still attracts many visitors, now no doubt with memories still fresh of the high-living chief of the German Luftwaffe.

"Zum Tuerken", the Gestapo House, is close by Hitler's Berghof, now, of course, in ruins. In 1952 the Berghof was levelled by order of the authorities, along with Goering's house, as the Bavarian Government were worried lest Obersalzberg became a Nazi shrine.
