Background: Over 1000 demonstrators belonging to Freedom Fighters convention, today marched to the Chinese Embassy, carrying banners and placards and shouting Anti chinese slogans to protest against the Chinese invasion to Vietnam.
Later the demonstrators pasted a copy of the memorandum at the gate of Chinese Embassy as non of the embassy official was present outside the embassy to receive the memorandum. the demonstration was peaceful.
More than 1,000 freedom fighters from all over the country this morning demonstrated outside the Chinese Embassy to protest against the Chinese invasion of Vietnam.
The freedom fighters, who are currently in the Capital to attend the freedom fighters conference at Talkatore Gardens, carried placards reading "Down with China", "Withdraw Forces from Vietnam territory and shouted anti-Chinese slogans.
When the freedom fighters failed to meet any official of the Chinese Embassy they pasted a memorandum on the embassy gate demanding immediate withdrawal of the Chinese forces from Vietnam.
