Don't think this'll make much of a story, pictorially, as was unable to visit oil wells in interior and coastal installation is fully automated, with little to show for it except office buildings. The story could be about the three new wells to go into service shortly (see newsletter) or it could concern Oman's decision last week to increase her oil prices 100% to bring them in line with OPEC countries. Oman shows willing in the present Mideast dispute, aligning with the Arabs, in banning oil sales to USA and Holland, but since USA took very little and Holland none (most oil goes to Japan), this is just a token gesture. A lot of general dope is enclosed but I can't really see much of a of a story with what I was able to film.

The roll sent herewith is shots of a London-registered tanker taking on oil from the PDO installation from a floating pipeline. You already hold aerial shots of the installation and this same tanker taking on oil.

Sorry no sound. was travelling in speed boat, which would have sounded incongruous, and waves lapping shore don't sound quite right. Aerials were from helicopter, for which also no sound.
