They arrived by boat - on the River Mause - and cheering crowds showered them with rose petals and flowers as they drove to the City Hall, where they appeared on the balcony.
Donna Paola Ruffo di Calabria, 21, was given an equally warm reception when she arrived at Brussels Airport June 5, where she was met by the Prince.
Prince Albert, 25, has borne the title of Liege since his mother, Queen Astrid, appeared with him in the city in 1934.
Monsignor Boone, Dean of Brussels, will celebrate the wedding mass, and Cardinal van Roey, Archbishop of Mal???nes, has been appointed to receive their marriage consent. A Civic ceremony will be performed in Brussels Town Hall.
