Background: Nine people were injured in a grenade attack on a restaurant in East Jerusalem on Saturday (9 May).
Waiters said they saw a man open the door of the restaurant, hurl a grenade, and run away. None of the injured was seriously hurt.
Also on Saturday night, a grenade thrown into a second restaurant in East Jerusalem failed to explode.
Dozens of Arabs were arrested following the explosion and police conducted searches in the area.
