    Background: Yugoslavian President Tito - on the final stage of his African tour - made his first visit to the British war cemetery at El Alamein, Egypt, United Arab Republic, April 18 when, accompanied by UAR President Nasser, he toured the site of the world war two battle.

    While in the area, the two leaders and their wives visited the Italian museum and cemetery and the German cemetery. Marshal Tito took several colour pictures.

    The President has recently visited Ghana, Liberia, Togo, Guinea, Mali, Morocco and Tunisia.
