Background: During the emergency period in Cyprus, guns of every type and description belonging to the general public, were confiscated and carefully stored away. Now that all is peaceful and orderly once again, the guns have been taken from storage and handed back to their owners.
British army personnel have carefully cleaned and renovated the guns...some to a condition better than when handed in.
Cypriots---Greek and Turkish---have called at the Nicosia Central Police station and claimed their weapons...now they can hunt once again.
