Background: The Australian Test tourists arrived in South Africa today for their winter series against the South Africans-- and several of the familiar names are missing.
It's largely a young team - a team drawn together in a desperate attempt to re-establish Australia's wilted reputation in international cricket. And it's young Ian Craig in charge of them.
Craig actually arrived in the Union earlier and here is merely greeting the main body. First out of the plane with a Kangaroo mascot is Richie Benaud. Among the unfamiliar names are; Wally Grout, Barry Jarman, Lindsay Kline, Ian Meckiff.....
And the old favourites who are missing....Keith Miller, Ray Lindwall and Ian Johnson.
