Background: The Soviet Foreign Minister, Mr. Andrei Gromyko, continued his three-day visit to Britain with talks at the Foreign Office on Tuesday (27th October).
Mr. Gromyko has topped off in Britain on his way home from the United Nations general Assembly in New York. Before his arrival outside the Foreign Office in London on Tuesday (27th October), to begin a round of talks with Sir Alec Douglas-Home and other government leaders, a group of placard-bearing anti-Soviet demonstrators was moved on by the police. Inside the Foreign Office the talks centred around increasing British-Soviet trade and more general world affairs. They were described as friendly.
