REPORTER:"Sir, can you tell if there is any chance of an agreement to open the Suez Canal without a withdrawal of Israeli troops?"

DAYAN:"I think there is a good chance of it. I think both sides really don't want to resume the fighting, and therefore I think there's god chance for an agreement about re-opening the Suez Canal operation."

REPORTER:"General, are you going to ask for any more armaments, Phantom jets or equipment?"

DAYAN:"No, I haven't come here for any special shopping purchases."

REPORTER:"What about that fifty million dollars that the Israelis are going to get back from France. Can you confirm that report?"

DAYAN:"I suggest that you discuss that with France. Thank you very much."
