Wierblowski, (United Sec: to State) talks in Polish. (Silent) TV Mr. Acheson in chair with Polish delegate arguing, Acheson says:-(Nat.sd.) TV Gromyko walks away thru rows of seated audience. TV British delegate, Mr. Younger, (Minister of State) comes to rostrum & starts to talk as Polish delegate still argues, Polish delegate walks off. SV President Truman walks to mike. TV Crowd applaud. CU Mr. Truman speaks:-(Nat.sd.)
SOUND EFFECTS. TV Mr. Acheson says:- "The Delegate to Poland may have 5 minutes.."
TV Mr. Acheson speaks:- "The delegate is out of order you will have the opportunity to discuss other matters later in this conference."
CU Mr. Truman speaks:- "The treaty how before us offers more than talk of peace, it offers action for peace. This conference will show therefore, who seeks to make peace & who seeks to prevent it: Who wishes to put an end to war & who wishes to continue it. I really believe this treaty will have the support of all those nations who honestly desire to reduce the tension which now grips the world."
