TRANSCRIPT: "Say thankyou very much to my colleague the Prime Minister of the Republic of Transkei for the kind words of welcome that he's extended to me this afternoon. We two, lady and gentle men have much in common we're no only holding down the same position but we both come from the Eastern Cape and all good men I know come from the Eastern Cape. But what is more important we are calves of the same season and because we have that much in common it has been my privilege, lady and gentlemen to be associated with my friend on my left for many, many years. Ever since 1961 when I was minister of justice. You've done your duty to your people and to your country and it stands to your credit. I want to thank you very much for the invitation that you've extended to me. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I'm pleased that I have this opportunity not only to come and congratulate you personally".
