Background: Continuing his tour of provincial Austria, Soviet Premier Mikita Khrushscev, visited the Cattle Breeding Centre, "Rinderzuchtanstalt", at Wels, July 4, and was presented with two bulls - named "Komponist" and "Gustl" - by the Austrian Minister of Agriculture, Franz Thoma.

The Russian Prime Minister - in a light-hearted mood - smilingly accepted the present but insisted upon inspecting the bulls. His verdict was that they looked very good and he was pleased to have them.

During Mr. Khrushchev's stay in Wels, Russian-born Mrs. Alexander Ecker ran to Mrs Nina Khrushshev, the leader's wife and wept as she said her greatest wish was to visit her aged parents in Kiev. The Premier's daughter, Elena, turned to her father and said; "Look, father, this woman must be given a permit". Mr. Khrushchev then promised to give Mrs. Ecker a visa.
