New plant being built in Mozambique. Commentary and explanation given at the beginning of the film. We are building plant for the handling of minerals and ores in Mozambique. It is expected to be finished by the end of September, and the capacity will be between 1200-1400 tons per hour for each set of conveyors. The system comprises a delivery yard where ore is delivered into tipplers and automatically weighed. Then goes into hoppers and fed on to the conveyor system, delivered into a large storage area. The reclaimers pick up the ore out of storage on to conveyors, and transport it on to two large ship loaders. Ships up to 65,000 tons can be handled here. The project had given a boost to the economy of Mozambique and will lead to much larger developments.
