    Reel No.1.



    The shot in the beginning in a person showing one finger indicating roll NO.1. The remaining shots are, people of Assam from tribal districts, girls and boys busy spinning, weaving and extracting fibre from cocoons, using traditional and improved models of equipments.



    Reel No.2. (about 20 ft.)



    The shot in the beginning is a person showing two fingers-indicating roll NO.2. The remaining shots show spinning and weaving by females and males from Madras and other states, bullocks operating and equipment to squeeze juice out of sugar cane being pushed under there crushing part by a boy, a boy boiling the juice in a long pan and stirring with a large spoon ( the villagers who use mostly Brown sugar, produce it by indigenous methods) and finally the equipments to make mustered oil being operated by bullocks and horse (squeezing oil from mustered)



    Remaining 20 feet: 1st Open Session of 63rd I.N.congress on 18th January. After a number of sittings of the subject committee(the first coverage of which was shipped to you, as shipment NO.3 of 63rd Indian National congress), the open session was started and here is shown the first sitting of the open session. This footage shows amidst the audience amid shots of hilly people including Nagas who attended the session.

    The audience at this open session was not strong and it was out so much as to be seated under the sheltered space. Hence the shots only with artificial lights. The space in the open was thrice big but all day unoccupied.

    Background: Slide Lights-Village Industries Fair: All India Village Industries & Handicrafts Board organized an Exhibition at Pragjyotishpur, Gauhati, the name of 63rd Indian National Congress. At this fair besides the products of village industry in different parts of the country, the process of Manufacture is on show in which the villagers-males and females are at work. The stress at handless cloth which is the top industry helping villagers has been wide at this fair.
