    SYNOPSIS: In the Ivory Coast on Sunday, drum majorettes marched through the streets of Abidjan, the capital, in celebrations to mark the Eleventh International Children's Day.

    The main celebrations were held in Abidjan's Houphouet-Boigny Stadium, named after the President. Several thousand schoolchildren took part in parades and displays, watched by a large crowd including Government ministers and top officials.
