At atumps on Saturday afternoon (14 December), Australia were 352 for four wickets, in reply to England's first inningstotal of 208.
Not-out batsman were Drug Walters on 103 and Ross Edwards on 79.
Walters completed his century in the last ball of the day's play, when he swung a Willis delivery for six.
It tock Walters 131 minutes to reach his century, which included eleven fours as well as the six, and crowds chanted him through the final stages.
Batsman out during the day were Isn Redpath for 41, Wally Edwards for 30, Ian Chappell for 25 and brether Greg fir 62. There were 12 extras.
