Background: King George the first of Great Britain born of the house of the Welfen of Hanover and Lower Saxony was carried to his second rest from the destroyed Leine Castle in Hanover to the nearby Herrenhausen castle after the rested for 250 years in his metal sarcophagus in the Royal Grave chamber in the Leine castle. Now he found a new grave in the Royal tomb chamber of Herrenhausen Castle of the Welfen. The king reigned Britain for 29 years from 1600 - to early 1700. He had to be brought to his new grave because the Leine castle destroyed during the war is now wrecked to give room for the new Parliament Building of the Government of the Land Lower Saxony.
