  • Description

The three rolls on this story should be edited & cut into the following continuity--The old & new Presidents leave the White House portico, get in car to proceed to Capitol (On roll 1-pan from door to car location. then front shot of portico & pan to N.E.gate exit-moving shot leaving portico & out gate.) (Then on roll 3-last shot) pan from outside gate showing how car will go thru gate & turn right towards Capitol. Then should come moving shot (on roll 2) going down 15th st.past Treasury Bldg. with Washington Monument in background & turning left Pa.Ave towards Capitol. Then long shot (stationary) looking down Pa.Ave toward Capitol (on roll 3), then moving shots towards Capitol (on roll 3) then pan car route from Constitution Ave to Delaware Ave & in the Capitol Grounds (on roll 2). Then on Capitol Grounds pan course of car from Senate wing to Library door (on roll 2) from where they proceed to Inaugural platform (shown building also on roll 2).

After the swearing in & Inaugural address, the new President will leave the Capitol by the same route & proceed ahead of the parade up Pa.Ave.to the White House, & then walk from the house to the reviewing stand which will be located on the sidewalk right in front of the White House grounds(shown in long shot form Lafayette Park on roll 1).Review of parade will follow.
1st scene showing return from Capitol should be (on roll 3) moving shot on Pa.Ave. toward the Apex Bldg,Post Office Tower-then next closer moving shot towards Treasury, turn into 15th st., then turn left from 15th into Pa.Ave.again-then from roll 2,passing White House returning from Capitol showing White House gate at end of shot. Then moving shot into gate (from roll 2) then moving shot from roll 1 going toward White House portico.
