Background: Princess Alexandra - a cousin of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II - yesterday (Monday) officiated at the opening of the British Industrial Exhibition in Hong Kong.
She then toured the exhibition, which was held in the exhibition hall at Wanchai. Among the exhibits was a giant mechanical digger, which dwarfed delicate electronic equipment on other stands.
In all, sixty companies were represented, exhibiting goods ranging from pins to cranes.
