Q: (Will you tell us what Happened?)
A: Immediately below Wellington Arch I noticed a disturbance in the crowd and I saw three policemen arresting a man, immediately he was clear of the crowd I took my picture.
Q: did it look like an attempt on the King's life?
A: Well it happened so quickly that it was all over in a few seconds that I cannot possibly form any opinion.
Q: Were you close enough to see what the man was like?
A: Well I was some distance away, but I should say that he was a middle aged man, bald headed and wearing a grey suit. But I thought the most remarkable thing of all was the way in which the King continued on his way at the head of his troops as if nothing had happened.
