Background: The Argentine Grand Prix started on December 1, with cars grouped in 3 categories. Well-known drivers participate in this outstanding event, which covers 5.491 kilometers in seven laps.
The first to start are the drivers of the "Standard Car" Category. After them ("A" and "B" categories) come the drivers of the "highway" category. Here the crowd cheers the favourites: Juan Galvez (No. 1), his brother Oscar Galvez (No. 2), Marcos Ciani (No. 3).
Last lap: Juan Galvez, driving a Ford, won the last stage (December 14) at an average speed of 167 1/2 Km, p h. He beat Marcos Ciani (Chevrolet) by 4 minutes 41 seconds, while Oscar Galvez (Ford) was third, but 25 minutes 42 seconds further behind.
