Britain is to contribute GBP1???? million in aid to Somaliland for the first year and further amounts in subsequent years. This sum would include the cost of the aid mission and seconded military personnel.

He described the union of Somalia and British Somaliland as a "foreign inspired development and a thinly disguised move for the seizure of Ethiopian territories."
