COMMENTATOR: "Wheel-chair basketball is a terrific game. There are 80 teams in the U.S. and the best of them gathered in Chicago for a tournament. The world champion team from Israel was a special attraction as they played the second-rank Chicago Sidewinders. The player-coach of the Sidewinders is Bruce Carr."

CARR: "Everybody gets excited here, just like they do everywhere else, a couple of technical fouls, I got one myself, because I think, there's a lot of emotion, a lot of heat in these games."

COMMENTATOR: "You use this wheel-chair as a part of yourself and that must take a lot of learning and a lot of practice."

CARR: "A lot of times that is the biggest thing to learn, now to handle a wheel-chair. Even an Athlete who is disable later, but he was a basketball player, he can still school, he can still pass, but he has to get used to handling -- he has to get used to handling the chair, in order to really compete. Because position is so much, you know....."

COMMENTATOR: "What are the differences between your game and the game was ordinarily see?"

CARR: "Mainly, it's in two areas: in the dribble and we get six seconds in the line instead of three. And other than that we play college rules which are 20-minute halves and everything else is just the same."

COMMENTATOR: "I noticed the children were just thrilled watching the game and afterwards they were all over you for autographs."

CARR: "Yeah, that's great. We love kids to come to the games. We think it's a very healthy way for young kids to see disabled people and when they run into them later in life, they're not going to think that there's anything really too unique about them."

COMMENTATOR: "Coach Carr says his wheel-bound colleagues are not too unique. He is wrong about that. They are fine athletes and even more remarkable men. ??? ???. NBC News."
