Background: The main party of the English Rugby League touring team arrived in Sydney late last night to begin a fourteen weeks' tour of Australia and New Zealand.
The team's two managers and nineteen players which make up the first party were welcomed at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport by members of the Australian Board of Control and New South Wales and Country Rugby League officials.
The rest of the team, seven players and the coach, are due in Sydney on Wednesday.
The Englishmen will play the first match of their tour of Australia and New Zealand at Wollongong tomorrow.
They will meet a Southern Division team.
The first test will be played in Sydney on the 14th of June.
