Delegations from more than 120 countries have been invited to attend.
The Heads of State of several Arab nations are expected to attend the celebrations on their way home from the Rabat Summit Conference.
One early arrival was prince Norodom Sinhanouk who leads the Government-in-exile of the Khmer Republic. He flew in from Peking on Monday (28 October), and next day went to Algiers airport to greet President Houari Boumedienne of Algeria who arrived back from Rabat.
Dignitaries from Bangladesh, Ivory Coast, Upper Volta, Peru, Poland, India, Pakistan and Turkey also arrived on Tuesday.
