Background: Boxing - and there were hysterical scenes in London when the European premiere of the film about the life of world boxing champion Muhammad Ali took place at a cinema in Leicester Square.
SYNOPSIS: Hundreds of people mobbed the Empire Theatre on Thursday (11 August) at night. Many of them had been waiting for hours to see the star of the film. The crush was so great that when Ali arrived security guards nearly lost control.
Ali's film is based on his autobiography and it's entitled 'The Greatest'. One scene shows Ali in a shouting match with boxer Sonny Liston, played by an actor, at Caesar's Palace Hotel in Las Vegas.
