    A. Lying in State
    Approx. 8.30 a.m. The body to be taken from The Funeral Parlour in Passage Road for the Lying in State at the House of Assembly.

    9.00 a.m. during lying in State Casket was draped with the flog of the west Indies federation.

    10.00 a.m. The Public will be admitted to pay its respects.

    2.30 p.m. Termination of period of Lying in State.

    B. The Procession
    3.30 p.m. The casket, preceded by the Chaplain and followed by the Speaker of The House of Assembly and Members paired in order of seniority, is to be borne under military escort down the stairway leading from The House of Assembly to the Courtyard.

    3.35 p.m. The cortege, including a Mounted Escort, The Royal Barbados Police Band, Regimental Guard of Honour, Relatives of the deceased and Members and Officers of The House of Assembly, will proceed through The South Entrance by way of Trafalgar Square, Chamberlain Bridge, Independence Square, The Duncan O'Neal Bridge, Trafalgar Street and Spry Street to St. Michael's Cathedral.

    3.57 p.m. The cortege arrives at St. Michael's Cathedral There is a fanfare by the Royal Barbados Police Band.

    C. State Service
    3.57 p.m. The cortege arrives at the Cathedral.

    4.00 p.m. The State Service to begin.

    D. The Burial
    Approx. 4.45 p.m. At the end of the Service in the Cathedral, the body will be conducted through the North Door to the Place of Burial within the Cathedral cemetery. The congregation is requested to allow the following persons to proceed to the Cemetery in the order set out below:
    The Family Mourners
    Their Excellencies the Governor-General and Lady Scott
    The Prime Minister and Mrs. E.W. Barrow
    Heads of Governments
    The Chief Justice and Lady Douglas
    Mr. Speaker and Mrs. N. Maxwell
    Members of the Privy Council
    Members of the Cabinet
    The Diplomatic Corps and Heads of Regional Institutions
    Puisne Judges
    Members of Both Houses of Parliament
    Chairmen of Service Commissions
    Senior Government Officials
    Other persons will then follow to the place of Burial.
