SYNOPSIS: An airliner from the Philippines lands at Frankfurt airport, and on board are thirty-four young nurses.
The girls are about to begin a new life in West German hospitals. They're just a few of several hundred expected from their own country, Korea and Ghana.
The nurses arriving here have been waiting several months for exist permits, which apparently were delayed because of unrest in their home country. However, they were prepared to wait, having been favourably impressed by reports sent by relatives or friends who arrived earlier.
Fourteen of this group went straight to Wiesbaden hospital, and the rest split into several groups which went to other centres. While in Germany, the nurses will live and work under the same conditions as their local counterparts.
